hey fellas I was wondering if you could help me brainstorm on my evo IX?
Whoever owned the car before me decided it was a good idea to put LED lights all over including inside the air vents.
I just took my car to get a 30k mi checkup and now those LED's blink like a seizure inducing disco rave party. When the car is off and only radio/lights work they stay solid but when I turn the car on they blink and occasionally stay off for 10 minutes before turning on again. Speed doesn't matter... and i've never taken on any car projects especially not interior electric crap.

Any thoughts?? thanks in advance

 

cant you just unplug them?

 

Check and see if the wires are plugged into the fuses. If so, just take them out. If the lights are connected to the battery then undo it from the positive lead on the battery. Hope this helps!

i'm down with unplugging them but it makes me wonder wtf happened to my car at Mitsu? they worked fine before. I had a battery go dead on me soon after buying the car and i'm hoping this isn't part of a bigger problem.
