Las Vegas Evo's
I usually get gas when I'm near empty and put in $16 of race gas (100) and then top off the rest with 91. It usually is about 8.5 to 9 to top off when the needle is near empty. I figure I have about 93.5 mix. You definitely feel more power and it's smoother through the RPM band, but i also have a Dynoflash and that made a big difference over stock alone.
If any of you guys are interested, Al from Dynoflash will be custom tuning in L.A. on April 3 and 4, Saturday and Sunday. I already have my spot. You need to leave a $100 deposit and the rest that day. I pay $400 since I am already flashed, but it's $500 or $450 if he has 15 cars or more to tune. There's at least 8 already. he recommends an upgraded fuel pump with modded Evos because of the summer heat. Good insurance for $90. Have to put that in B4 I get there or he won't tune ***** out on your car. you can expect 20 to 30 whp gain on a stock Evo and with mods, a little more on top of the gains from the mods themselves. I hope to be around 300 whp with my HKS catback, downpipe, K&N filter, high fuel pump and maybe boost control if I can swing the money. With a good launch, that's good for at least high 12s.
