YOSEMITE anyone?

This is longshot, since must of all you California owners are in Bay Area, NorCal or SoCal. But, would anybody be interested in a BBQ-type get together before winter up at Bass Lake (in the mountains, HWY 41 near YOSEMITE)? Some great driving backroads in the area for those who like the "twisties", nice little lake, good weather, just 13 miles from Yosemite.,... would be a good place to take the wife or girlfriend for the weekend in the Evo or WRX. Bout 3 hrs from SFO or SAC.... bout 4hours from LA area. Have a big casino / resort / hotel about 15 minutes away if anybody likes gambling and eating!!

Would anybody make the trek?

1) From SAC, should be 3 hrs. Takes me exactly 3 hrs 15mins from Roseville to Bass Lake, if I don;t leave at rush hour. The final 1hr+ is on nice, empty, curvy backroad up to the hills between Chowchilla (hwy99) to Coarsegold (HWY41). Kickass road.. I drive it twice per week

2) Date? I had in the back of my mind something like OCT 25? But only an idea, if people were interested.

Could be something where we said a day / time / place, everybody bring their own food and utensils, and I will supply sodas and make sure we have BBQ grills fired up and picnic tables. Just a real loose get toegther... I am not much of an "organizer" so, had in mind a very informal get together .

Some Evos / Lancers / Wrxs and anybody else who is interested and likes driving and cars.... ????? Get my sis there with her porsche and my nephew and his neon.... hey, no smack talking on the neon. He's a good kid.

I dunno guys.... think we would have enough interest to make this worthwhile? Where are the evo guys? Any Wrx folks?
