I might be getting rid of my Home Depot intake ducting, since I found out my autocross category doesn't allow me to remove the solid side grill inserts for that purpose If anybody has an RMR intake (and possibly an RRM one) and wants it, let me know. If I can't figure out how to mount it under the car without cutting or removing any splash guards, I'll probably sell it for like $10 or something.

Brian...do you have to keep the stock ones in the side bumper holes or just a grill of some sorts?i have done kinda the same setup but have two 3 inch hoses going to my intake...one from each side...oh well...i'll show you when we meet at the race

 

the meet starts at 1pm tunaman but show up earlier if you want to see some of the races

 

Will we be at the speedway UNTIL 1pm, or will we be at Baja Fresh at this time just wanted to clairfy incase people are thinking about arriving at 1pm.

Since the original inserts are solid, replacing it with a mesh or screen in order to feed the intake is not allowed, although my setup was overlooked twice already by tech inspection, so it's not a big deal for racing, except that I don't want to risk a protest in the event that I win a trophy (I'm getting close finally), especially over a mod that only gives me maybe 1 hp. Both of the mods are actually ok, just not when working together.

 

ok, just shoring up some details. Everyone will be at the autoX until 1pm, and THEN the meet starts? I plan on showing up earlier anyway, I want to catch some of the action, but just in case...

 

Yeah, the official meet starts at 1:00, but if anyone is gonna be late, we're probably gonna head on down to Baja Fresh shortly after 1.

Sorry I missed you guys when I came back from lunch. It was good to see all the lancers and Evos at an auto-x. Racenuts? in the blue Evo looked good in the A-stock in the 5th group. Unfortunately I had to leave due to Asthma- great air today at the speedway. FYI if you have up to stock class mods and street tires you can run in SK1 or SK2, so you don't have compete against race rubber.

Sorry you had to leave early, Rick. I know you would have posted some nice times. It was nice to see you guys again, and Troie and Kris for leaving SLO at 3:00am just to get there with me, that's dedicated!!!
