work sucks. I'm so sad I couldn't make it! My boss wouldn't give me the day off! She's even being a ***** about my boyfriend's birthday!!!

 

We goofed up big with Boes car. Slicks we used were 2 1/2 inches taller than stock diameter tires. Gearing was off. Ran 15.00 ANyone wanna buy some slick for their Camaro ? Only know there is a ton of power there. Still going thru traps fast (93 mph) eeven with lousy 60 ft times (2.8) Ouch! Tires we chose were the problem.

Yeah the 15 flat was a good run with crappy 60'time. Thanks to Blackmantis for letting me borrow your tires. I got that time on his BFG drag radials. With those i was able to get the car into 4th gear before the end of the run. With the slicks i couldn't. Definately a tire issue. Last time i ran i did it on a honda's slicks that had a dual pattern... i never checked the size so we got to big of tires. We'll get that fixed quick and be back at the track soon with some other SCLC members to verify!

couldnt agree more. my times werent steller either. Many many many people there complained about the track being almost a half a second slower than any other track. well new track = slow time but oh well.

I guess that is why they kept spraying that sticky crap on the first 60' of the track every few runs.

 

Hey whenever you guys are gonna go back or go to another track let me know too. I know my car is almost stock with just cat back exhaust but it is still a hell of a lot of fun. Maybe by then I will have my CAI and header. YEEHAW!!!
