SCLC has begun to bleed from the insides, spilling out into the corners of this great forum. Being a member of the old skool LancerForums, this domain easily sucked up all the hours of my life. And through it my love for tuning my ride grew. I've acquired more knowledge, made new friends, and started a car club. With that being said I refuse to let immature b!tches waste your space. I would like to inform all existing and new members that SCLC will be relocating to our own site in the very near future. If you are still dedicated to the cause and interested in hanging around, PM or AIM me and I will give you the 411. Newcomers who are remotely interested are welcomed to join. From this point on, I will no longer post meet info in this thread. Everything will be handled via PM, email or AIM. I will sort out the haters and the people who corrupted this club. I will send info to those who requests it. Everyone who have faith in this club I thank you for your support. The tyrant has spoken!
I'm trying to figure out where all the hostility is from plastik... seems this forum is doing fine to me. Sure people like to gab and talk but come on that is what having fun and getting to know eachother is all about. Switching to another site is fine but being rude about it or ******* people out is no way to keep things together. Some people are more interested than others about their rides. Often to get people more involved you have to use the process of conversing thru humor. This way people learn, accept, and want to be a part of the club. Taking anger and frustrations, caused by a small few, out on everyone is not setting your rep up well nor SCLC's.

I've been in contact with the organisers for close to two months, now and we've already reserved space for the California Statewide Lancer Association on the great soccer field (where, mind you, about 75 i-club members will also be meeting).
Here's one of the latest messages I've received from the Rim:
Stewart,
Glad your group can help at Rim! We will probably ask your crew to
help in other areas, not just at Pelona Vista, as Denise probably
explained. She knows the "holes we need plugged" in our staffing.
I am attaching the vendor info package which has a signup form. You
will not be paying the $200 but we need to know the other information.
And of course, we ask that all your participating members sign up on
the web on Rim's Online Worker Registration Form
(www.rimoftheworldrally.com, click on WORK then the hyperlink to the
form).
I think best to fax the form to us at (760) 384-2640.
Now, for the web link and Program mention, we need your website
address if you have one, "jobs" at Rim (Denise can provide as she
assigns you), a contact person and their phone and email (optional).
From what I see on the email you sent me, I have pretty much
everything if YOU are the contact guy! Is that correct? We can
always change it on the link, of course.
Let me know if this is correct.
Thanks,
Paula

Thanks Dude! Hey, for $6K we could enter a prepped Evo VIII (including crew) in the Rim. We even got a driver and co-driver! That means Lancers show up @ $100/pop and CAL SLAM has an official RIM entry.
What a deal! How can we pass this up?
