I should have worded that post differently. My mistake. I was referring to mentality not age in that previous post of mine. Like I said this is not high school.

OMG, did somebody on this board actually apologize for saying something that might have been offensive?! Glad to see at least one SCLC member is mature enough to try to resolve things respectfully. Thank you, deltron May the rest of us follow your lead.

I think some of you guys are running wild. Need little bit of structure. Remember people are involved cause they are Lancer owners or enthusiasts. Wanna have a meeting? Lets do it. Wanna elect officials to the club? Lets do it. Drama is no fun, SCLC is FUN. That is it!
I will help organize things a little if you like. Cut people some slack though and have fun. Let me know if you want independent moderation from me. My only interest is that I wanna see the club flourish!!!

it's a good start. Even if it doesn't get me back in, I want to appologize to anyone I might have upset. Although I think most of my beef is with Richard, if there is anyone else I have offended, I'm really sorry. Feel free to IM me (suyfergirl) any time you want. As for Richard, I need to personally talk to him to straighten somethings out. I hope it all works out. You guys are really cool, some of you havn't really given me a chance yet, and I'm hoping that will change... sometimes first impressions can really suck.

Club needs all the chicks it can get... no offense but gear heads/motor heads/car nuts love the ladies. Sinse you are like the only Lancer owning one, at least i think so, it would be a shame to lose that. Plus your alright i just think, as you said, you have a beef to settle with someone. Now my question is: Is the meet still on for MAR 15th?

Ya, I vote to keep Kara in SCLC. She and Richard need to settle this grudge, maybe have a heart to heart talk . I think the meet IS still on the third Sat of every month, but I'm not the club leader so I couldnt tell u for sure. I really want everyone to get along good.

Kara, that was extremely mature of you to apologize for something you might not even have done. I do believe she deserves a second chance to prove herself as a awesome chick... as for I am already convinced that she is .

Boeturbolancer, how bout Karlen (Like george CARLIN except she is a chick!). Karlen deserves credit for being another Lancer owning lady .

The Point I really wanna get across in my thread is...

Give Kara a Chance!

I am unsure where she offended anyone or how but after meeting her I definitly have no problems with Kara. She seems nice I didnt have much of a chance to talk to her but she was very inviting (man i wish this thing had a spell checker) and warm to me, being a newbie that was a huge plus.

She blew her second chance when she decided to post our private conversation in the forum. What kind of sick person saves their AIM conversations? Someone with only intentions to do harm, a devious person who cannot be trusted on any level. How could anyone condone such behavior? Would you even consider having someone like that close to you? I'm a nice guy and I put every ounce of sweat and effort into SCLC to make it cool for everyone. But please don't confuse nice with push over as I take what I do very seriously. I am not an unreasonable person and I take every advice into careful consideration but when someone crosses the line, insults and tries to undermine, they can expect to face consequences. For me to ignore the events that transpired within the last 2 weeks would go against everything I stand for. My decision still stands and I will not be swayed. As for the other members, they will kept anonymous and do not need to be dragged through the mud as I have. I will keep in touch with everyone via AIM or PM regarding info on the upcoming meet.. This matter is closed.

best regards,

As I recall, that thread was first started by a DIFFERENT sclc member, posting an AIM conversation of another member. Is this person kicked out, too? All I see here is someone who is not willing to forgive And as far as a majority vote, I certainly was not included, leaving me to wonder if I am considered a member as well.

Also, for the record, so everyone knows: Only a few hours after posting her conversation with Richard, Kara asked me if it was inappropriate and if I thought she should delete it. Stupid me said not to bother since people had already seen it. My apologies to Kara and Richard for giving such bad advice.

Point blank, I do not want to participate in a club that is run by snap decisions and manipulated votes without any solid reasons to speak for. I came to this club to see first hand which mods work and which don't and maybe make some new friends along the way. The Forums members and vendors such as RRM are doing a good job of that for me, without all the drama and BS. My future participation with the SCLC is uncertain at the moment.

Sorry for ranting, I couldn't hold my peace anymore.
