Nice meet'n ya'll. Its been fun kickin it with you guys in teh previous meets, in fresno, and all teh people at RRM. FOr i am no longer interested in the forums, and i have school to catch up on, i will no longer be attending the meets, nor this forum. Farewell all. and Richard, thanks for the fun times, and kick azz burgers

neither do I! I wasn't meaning that there was a problem with it... I just didn't see it talked about on here... so I was curious if anyone was asked. obviously they were, sorry for assuming.

I think this can be resolved very easially. i dont think there should be anyone who is appointed to organizing anything. i think that if someone feels like they want to meet then let them specifically organize it and post it on the forum unless someone wants to take up on the responsibility. if people decide to show then they will and if not then all i can say is "sucks to be you" i think everyone here agrees with me when i say that everyone just wants to have fun and if it gets that complicated then honestly there is no point in joining.
the experience i have as a blood racer from the past experience was that there was one location and one time. CHEVRON GAS STATION on FRIDAY and SATURDAY night at like 10-till the races end. everyone meets up and whoever wants to race leaves. people usually just follow but in our case, everyone just chill and have fun meeting new people.
if everyone agrees then let it be and start your own thread if you want to meet and the people who are down will just post that they'll show. simple as that.

now as to the whole wazoo twards who should do what and who should decide twards the club...
(first off i myself have never made a meet since i work weekends but have been trying the last few months and will keep trying till i can and you have full right to tell me to shut it since i should have no say...but...)
i have found that durring my works in makeing the first CalSlam happen in fresno that it is a bit hard to make everyone agree and the more people you have planning things the more it is that something will get messed up or happen not as planed.i say that if you have one person who is ready and willing to spend their own time to do their best to make the meet a go and makes it happen along with whatever sponcership you happen to have then then i see nothing wrong with that.maybe if you still feel the need not to have one person have the full "power" then maybe you can have...ie. a vice pres and some such but in the end i say the head guy should have the final word and if something goes wrong then they should take full responsibility.now i only knew a few of you personally so i have no idea who should actually take charge so everyone should get together , not on forums but actually face to face and decide there.it just seems that all this stuff is defeating the entire reason to have a club.
now as i said before...i actually have no right what so ever to put my 2 cents in if even that much so i will hold nothing if you feel i should stick to my own part of Calif and shut my mouth but i do hope that when i make a soCal meet that it will for the smallest part...enjoyable
