what duration are you gonna get?, just the exhaust side for the IX right?

 

Its just a cheapo cone filter......dont know the brand, i think its a pep boys brand. spectre or something. I can try the typhoon, anything is better than this problem. Do u come to reno at all?

 

Id say its either your plugs or the tune. I recently was having a boost/misfire problem over 4500 RPM's. Turned out i had a small boost leak and that along with switching to 91 octane fouled my plugs. Changed them out and no problems.

i took the k&N off cause Al @ dynoflash sudjested me to change it for the tune., he said a lot of evo owners are having problems with the typhoon system...I never had any problems with it when installed in my car with untuned ecu, but i switched to hks rs........anyways, i only go to reno if its a must....if you want we can meet in the middle...say fernley.? up to you.

hey i talked to that guy with the silever VIII for sale on base....he wont let me test drive but he gave me ride.....im not sure but it didnt feel all that strong!!! maybe cause it was a short ride....he's got 50K miles., i envited him to our meet, hopefully he'll come play. see if he can keep up in the twistees....it would be fun! i cant wait!!!!! o ya its a AMS GT 30.

i didnt get deep into it, just the obvious stuff....IC+LIC, cone filter, hks bov, AMS fuel injectors, electronic boost controller.... o ya he said he's running alky...at 30 psi. the car didnt sound like its got cams., + the BIG AMS GT30 kit!

no....he's the only one 03-04 evo here...the other 2 are IX's..... then mine. what kind downpipe is it? it wont fit acd cars?

 

you should get the QTP cutout, have it welded then sell it.
