I hope thats not the only reason why your tuner said you have a boost leak..just 1 of the symtoms of high altitude...that and lower power your barometer sensor takes care of the weak air up here in keeping your afr where it should be.My vacuum gauge usually reads at 14-15in at idle and other evo's in town also

 

I was sorta hoping to hear that . I thought that the vacuum would be reading a little weird at a higher altitude. Im honestly not feeling any loss of power compared to back in GA with the same 91 octane tune. I think he just forgot that i told him Reno was a few thousand feet higher than atlanta. The only thing thats making me a little worried is he said the fuel trims are off at idle, but im getting very little knock. A max of 3 counts. Thanks for the info and easing my nerves !

 

Wes had a run that was ok. but it wasn't in the qualifing rounds. It was an 11 but don't remember exactly what the time or mph was. Personally I was not impressed by it but with some good driving it should move pretty good down the track. Hopefully I can get into the 11's by the end of the year with the same mods I have right now. I just need to get my 60ft down to 1.6-1.7 like Greg (1.68) and Ryan (1.74) can do. My best to date is a 1.85 but i get a bunch of spin off the line. If my computer would work properly I can post a video of one of my runs with my car sideways after the launch.

I was coming back from vegas and saw a blue wrx,silver evo8 and 3white evo8 heading towards the track in fallon.Anyone from this forum?

 

i saw a silver evo today by raleys on mt. rose. kid stared me down then drove like a douche away.

I know, i saw a blue 8, and a silver 8 on virginia on saturday together cruisin, so i waived and they just stared me down.......so much for fellow evo bro's.
Also, who drives the black evo with the AMS intercooler and cf hood, with no wing? Thats a great lookin evo, saw it driving south on 395, passed right next to it. Very clean, looks great.

 

Probably but who knows. Most would say the same thing about me seeing as I am only 17. Theres a catch though. I pay for every dime of my car. So i try to give people the benefit of the doubt. I think he goes to Galena HS and I go to Manogue. He must have seen my parking sticker

 

I see about 3 evos a day around here and i wave to them and nothing!
