Yeah I have a buschur. I mainly wanted to switch because I wanted a cleaner look for my jdm rear bumper. It does leak a little, but not too bad.

What muffler do you have? I've got the older buschur race muffler and want to tone it down a little with one of the other Buschur mufflers. If you get Hee's exhaust and want to do something with yours let me know.

I actually had Modified do it since I have never done it before. I watched them change it and it looks very easy to do. You just need an oil pump and some hose to reach the fill plug and just pump it until its full. I think you need 3 bottles of it and Summit Racing sells it off the shelf.

I used Redline in my 240sx and found it quite tough to shift when cold. When I was banging through gears sideways it kept the tranny in perfect condition though . For just daily street use with a little bit of track/autox use just go with the OEM Diaqueen trans. fluid thats used in the MR (6 speed). Its the same you use in the 5 speeds too. Also always go with OEM Diaqueen in the rear and trans. case. Although if you have an 05' up I believe they use something else since it has the ACD.

It is really easy to do to. I did mine before I moved out here. All like evoski said all you need is a little hand pump to pump it from the container into the trans/tcase. Its basically just like changing the oil.

On a side note:
I blew my front tire yesterday., Had to buy all 4 new ones so now i have 3 used Nitto 555 235-45-17 with about 6k miles on them. If anybody needs a spare make me an offer. I found out that changing just one tire would be bad for the TC in the long run.....

With only 6k on them they shouldn't be that worn. The tires need to be within 1-2/32's of the new tire. I had to replace all 4 of mine because my tires had about a year and 12k-15k miles on them.

I actually wondered if you could just buy one tire in this case and have it shaved to the same tread depth of your existing tires to avoid buying all 4. Anybody ever tried to do this before?

My dad and I were talking about this. I'm sure you could, but its a matter of finding a shop thats willing to do it for you. If you can do it with track tires why not with others?

As for the exhaust, I didn't want to deal with taking it off. It was a RNR 3" TBE with Highflow Cat and Magnaflow exhaust. Also has a O2 sensor bung on the DP for wideband O2 sensor. If you really want it, you can have it for free, but you'd have to do the labor of removing it and putting on the stock system, and I think the insurance is going to be taking it away pretty soon.
So hee are you going to get another IX?

I can't make up my mind on what I want to do. First off, I need to find out how much the insurance will pay me.

For a little while, I'll probably work on getting my 1990 Talon up and running. I've had it for about 4 years and never really did anything with it.

I had some $ saved up to build up the Evo. Luckily, this accident happened before I dumped all my $ into it. I may look to upgrade to a bigger house in Reno, but not sure how well my current house will sell in the current market. I may also look to buy a 2nd home in Fernley with some acreages. In the meantime, I'll be searching for some great deals on a IX, 2.3 GT35R VIII, Viper, or a SL600.

SL600's are SEXY!!! TT V12... can't go wrong there!

In my Econ class we were talking about the housing market and different areas. Apparently San Fran. isn't doing to bad with the housing (Renos not that bad either), so if you decide to sell your house you may want to market it there? Just a thought.
