Ok so the plan for today was to put my downpipe,test pipe and O2 housing on...Downpipe and test tipe was cake, got to O2 housing and the O2 sensor didn't want to come out. After alot of pb blaster I thought I broke it loose. WRONG I snapped the sensor at the threads... I have NEVER seen a sensor snap! Yea so here goes nothing trying to get an O2 from

If you get that sensor from the dealership, they are going to rape you on the cost, and I doubt they'll cover it under warranty. Try to find a non-mitsu direct replacement o2 sensor that are way cheaper. I think Napa should have some or look online.

 

This is the exact thing Im afraid of when installing my Megan 02. I think ill just pay allan to put my 02 and mani on instead of messing with it. Hope you get it replaced soon!

 

The O2 housing is a PITA and unless you've got a lot of good tools I wouldn't mess with it. Phil you've seen my set up and Allan did a good job on mine.

Def. don't call mitsu. Get a universal 4 wire sensor from autozone or Napa. A factory O2 sensor from mitsu will cost you close to 300 dollars.

 

Local guy's i'am selling my stock IX fuel pump for $40.00.It has 5k in it.

 

Got the O2 sensor, cost me $225.00, Man these cars are expensive!!! A subaru one was 120.00... O well get tuned tomorrow!!!!I am so excited!

 

Sensor is only 75.oo online.
