Thumbs down

Ok... so my friend entroduces me to one of his frieds that just go tuned by "someone" here in reno not going to say names, but he says that it feels like crap...to start the tooner he didn't tune his electronic boost controller cause he didn't know how... I had my lap top on me from logging my buddies car and so we went for a ride in the new guys car. After looking at the log. it was getting 6-8 counts at peak boost and it was still around 5 at 7000rpm ....why would someone leave a car like this!
we stop and I pull his map.... looks like an etch-a-scetch ... Timing was terrible and bumpy as ****... his map had him at 7* at peak boost to 16* at redline!!! his boost was 26-27 psi tapering to 20... I just thought I would share... I have no idea about his afr but once we both have time I will get my wideband on his car and take a look at everything!!!

Just thought I would share about a reputable reno tooner!
P.S-If I sound like a dick i'm sorry just a little pissed that some one would charge for this crap, I don't want to affend anyone either!!!

Cant be talking about me. I tuned Phils car just recently, and my timing maps are fricking beautiful if I do say so myself. Also Phil has an manual boost controller. Is there someone else that tunes in Reno?

Here is Phils 100 octane map. He didnt want it too aggressive, so this just had a couple 2's at peak torque and sporatic 1's to redline. I still have the log but Im out in Oklahoma for work so can post when I get home with afr's. Really hope that wasnt directed at me, because I can back my shiz up hehe.

Ok good lol. Btw here is his log, I just screenshotted it because this wont let me upload a .csv file bleh >< Wideband is labeled, we were shooting between 11.7 and 11.9. This was third run of a series, I like to take the last log of a "hot lap" so you know its safe hehe. I was wrong though, couple 2 counts up top but I get 0's and 1's on the first run and solid 11.7 so no biggie. I dont mind showing my work usually, you can ask Phil I pretty much show you the log after every pull so you know how things are progressing lol. I wonder who did that other guys tune, I havent heard much about people doing any tunes in town.

Not really, but its the frickin altitude >< Thats 27psi on that log. Bad thing is down in Vegas I was hitting 280-290 on 26psi, and I had guys running 28 that were over 300. Thats why I rescale all my maps out to 330, like you can see on Phil's timing map. I swear when I was in Vegas my car was tuned at 21 or so, and when I moved up here and did a pull I was topping out at 17. I couldnt figure out wtf was going on haha. I had to almost max out my wastegate duty cycles to get it back up to a little above 20. I need to get a GM map sensor now so I have more room to play with, my stock EBCS is about maxed!
