i had issues with my whole clutch install.
it still is so hard to get into gear ever since we put the twin disk in but the pedal is all the way out and engages so high. i need to remove the restictor i think.

anyone else have issues like that with the exedy twin.

kinda wishing i got an ACT now.

when and where for the meet. anyday except the weekend and thursday works for me. ideas?

 

Last meet we had was at night time.Maybe we should do it during the day then take a drive up to VC.

im not so down with the daytime meets because i have school but o well.

 

I think i know what you're talking about... It took me at least an hour to figure out the trick.

 

^ It was a hassle. Problem now is that the car was put all back together, and i started it for the first time, and whoaaaa........a loud *** constant rattle...sounds like the flywheel or plate. It rattles in idle with the clutch pedal down and up. So allan looked under the car and thinks that the pressure plate was not lined up correctly and it is out of balance, creating the loud rattle. So the car has to be taken apart again, and i dont have a ride now till its fixed. Anyone hear of this issue? Is this the pressure plate, or something else?

 

that same problem happened to my old gsx it rattled while idling in the tranny area. i just replaced the clutch but came to find out the pressure plate wasn't lined up properly. don't worry alan'll get it right.

 

^Thanks, and thats what it was, he got it fixed and said it was a washer not lined up properly. Glad its done so i can have my car back finally! While the car was on the lift heres some things i fixed up: -Capped off nipples for the boost controller, modified downpipe so it wouldnt rub on ACD anymore, - refilled all tran and clutch fluids. It should be running great now. Hope to see everyone this weekend at the meet.

Let's organize another meet a little in advance. How's one of the up coming Saturdays and a run up to either VC or LT? Chime in on which Sat is most convenient for you guys. I can do pretty much any Sat after memorial day weekend. Maybe we could also organize either a bbq or poker run or something that involves a little more than just standing around.
