Wtf?

I just got my 2008 lancer evo registration renewal notice and noticed..lol its $433. I live in California and i have never paid that much for any of the other cars ive owned. Does anyone else here in california have to pay this much for your evo's registration renewal?

I'll know in 1 year, haha. That's kinda on the higher end. I paid 350 ish for my 07 TSX.

Yeah, I got into a grad school in san diego and the state pulled like 680 million to research institutions so my appointment got put off until next year. God damnit Arnold... Doesn't surprise me that they are charging so much for random things, and taxing higher, have you seen the deficit??

^yikes! I think I paid $35 or $40 for my IX renewal this year. They need to legalize weed and tax it down there. I don't even know how heavy they would need to tax it - people would start flocking to CA! Tax more if people are from out of state? haha!

I've heard of others in here in CA getting some much higher registration costs. As if raising the state tax wasn't enough...

Yeah, registration used to be a lot in WA. Of course, not being in King County helps for me. Auburn is also out of King, right? Is that Pierce?

lol i dream of the day my registration is only 433.... I paid 792 in 2008 and 653 in 2009. and my state isnt up **** creek on its budget either.


i heard of a IX owner that recently moved to cali and got slapped with a 2k plus registration because his car wasnt cali certified...

Yes for some reason Cali loves to rape us on everything from registration to taxes lol... Move to Tennessee my friends registration was like 80 bucks on a 07 s2000!
