OK, I was just wondering where all the EVO owners in SoCal go for their tuning needs or routine maintenance. I just went to the dealer for my 15K mile scheduled maintenance, and they told me that I need to change my brake pads. I am definitely not buying the pads from them or even plan on using them for the service part. But, I don't know where to do to. I just called Roadracemotorsport in Santa Fe Springs, which isn't that close. They said that they don't really work on EVOs and told me to call the shop next door which was Roadraceengineering or something. They said they do the work but didn't actually carry the pads. I don't mind buying the pads from someone else, but the guy I talked wasn't very assuring regarding the amount of experience they had working on EVOs. So I would appreciate any info you guys can give regarding shops that have experience with EVOs in the LA or OC areas. I am definitely looking for a place that I can go to long term for both my maintenance needs and future tuning work. Thanks

 

road race engineering has lots of experience, they have their own evo that they are tuning for MMSA for SEMA. I would trust them plenty, or Road Race Motorsports could help too, they are just down the street

I would like to do the engine oil and tranny/diff oil changes and also install the Buschur axle muffler. I need someone who won't screw up differentiating the Redline lubs MT90 vs 90W.

In the westside area I guess brainstorm on venice and la cienga(sp?) I know of a master mitsu mechanic in puente hills, his shop is called eigen enginerring the mechaics name is Billy.
