when i read this i seriously wanted to go down to salt lake and two step on the street. lol. im eladed that they basically got their dicks stepped on trying to go forth with something like this. honestly do they not see how many aftermarket distributors are in the state of utah? that would have killed some major players in the market today. i mean for crying out loud Dr Gas, who makes NASCAR exhausts is located in the valley. who do these people think they are? seems as if the politicians are as bored as some of the law enforcement folks.

 

man when the cam started to fall off i was like wtf? but then when it came off the mount and the mount was still there i was like omg. i looked down to see it laying next to me in the kart then i took a turn hard and felt a bump under the kart. i looked down again once i was on the straight and it was gone! holy crap! then i saw it laying in the middle of the track and tried to get it but oh man was i close. i felt like i had failed in some way or something. then i saw the damage and wanted to give shawn the money i was going to give up for the race. lol. damn. at least he has extras and im still very glad he came out. next time he will be around to show off his work, products, and sell some things.

There are a couple of things to note about the legislature ... even though this bill was defeated ... it did go through committee. More like it was ramrodded with a couple of senators absent. Second is it went through the Senate. The Senate is suppose to be "more professional." What this sometimes means is the Senate is more pissed off at the world because they drive X5s instead of Tahoes / Hummers.

Just kidding ... The disturbing thing is for auto laws they usually circulate through the house then senate then house then senate again back and forth for a few years ... until enough of us actually tell them to can it and hopefully they back off. Be aware this could come back next year. Hopefully we can pick it up then and try to do something.

On a note of exhaust. I had one of my friend / co-workers get a new exhaust for his rusting Ford F250 2003 Diesel. It was funny that the Magnaflow he got (along with a tune) was better sounding, quieter, lighter, larger, and netting better gas milage with less black smoke than OEM ... imagine that :P . This bill was a joke even according to what my friend was considering as "regular wear and tear replacement."

Yes I'm up tonight .. researching wheels for my Pontiac G8 GT. I'm trying to get closer to a suspension setup on it, and I think its time to get some rims. ASA AR1s seem to be the right style ... kind of a polished lip BMW spoke style. Say ... does anybody know off of the top of their head, the OEM 2003 Evo offsets?

lol guys dont worry about the camera. I have said a half dozen times its no big deal, I have 2 more just like it.

I bought those 3 cams fulling expecting with all the times they have been mounted to the outside of a vehicle, something would happen.................although id dint think a 20mph go kart would be the one to ditch the camera haah

no worries, I am pulling the footage now and will work to get some footage together for a video.

I like the g8 gt check out raderwerks.com they got some sick 1-3 piece wheels and you can get custom finishes too. Some bbs, hre or well something that's not as costly. What's the bolt pattern?
