You lucky sum*****.

I had school, you had work. But yes, it did all start with just you and I. And then Dallin joined in. He was the reason we created the "Have to go to sleep first" rule.

Good times. I miss the old Evo crew. I wonder how Evan and his ex-sister-in-law are doing...

And D-Money, I meant that as a "They are BBS wheels, a few small potholes really shouldn't have bent them as badly as the tire shop made it sound" I've hit a few potholes, sure, it is Utah, but none that have jarred me enough that I would think it would've bent BBSes. Rotas on the other hand...

No, I wouldn't, Volks are what cracked for us on the S. Wouldn't buy them for the track either. Especially not for the price.

Yes, it really has been 6 since I joined. I joined in 2004 when I got the Evo (or a little before, can't remember). Looking at my old posts make me laugh.

This may be a general Volks wearing over time issue ... but I think I've bent everything under the sun. Heck last year I even bent my Triumph Tiger Magnesium Rim on an unsuspecting pothole in a right hand corner. Ugh

... One thing I have noticed is a good set of coilovers that actually support internals with a high speed blowoff. It may not be something that'll save a rim, but a slightly flattened rim is better than a fully blown out tire / rim. Just FYI ... I'd put it on my list of things to ask about when looking for coilovers. I got lucky on my EVO VIII Ohlins' revalve where the tech. put that in. But after having it I've been a believer of that valving feature.

Please don't take anything from me terribly personal Timmay ... The I-15 strip is sometimes just a little too much of a long strip of Western pavement.

Smiles,

~j.
