all this talk about new turbos and hp is killing me. i don't want to touch the car because it's reliable, but the power itch is getting to me again already.

question: what do you guys guess the car is making? stock turbo/cams/etc (evo 9), TBE, intake, running 24-25 psi on 110 leaded octane.

 

oh ya i'm getting mine in like 2 years

 

I know I need a Not modded car to just DD not the 2 that I have right now

On a mustang Dyno I would say with a good tune 330-360 Whp. No positive but with a good tune and good cams on those 9's with the 9 turbo you can make good power.

Part of why I want a 9 MR now Do a few bolt ons and keep the Stock turbo and make 350ish and have a pretty fast Daily Driver

Hi guys. Haven't been on in a while. Good to see some old names and some new ones. It's a sad day but I'll be getting out of the Evo game, atleast for a little while. Not as many fun places to drive in AZ compared to UT. Plus paying insurance on a car I never drive. And I'd like to pay off my wifes car. I'd rather someone be able to enjoy it than for it to just sit in my garage. Cars were meant to be driven, especially this one.

 

What are you looking to get and what other hobbies?

Ya I hear you there on spending money on something your not driving I am selling my Evo for this very reason, and I want a newer car with a warranty for once

 

There is a reason some own cars, and some own classics. Its awefully hard to get a classic back after its been "t00n3d."

Then again sometimes life it too short to own just one thing.

I'm racing go karts on the weekends. I just bought the wife an Infiniti and I still have my BMW. The Evo was awesome but I wanted to get into wheel to wheel racing and cars was just too much money, even something like spec miata. I had my fun with the Evo so now it's time to share the fun.
