Yeah I knew it was going to lock me out just not this bad. Lucky my motor is still fine after missing 4th.
Did I mention I hit oil!!!! when I was in third It went from 6 to 7k real fast then back to 6.3k I was like wtf there is no way my clutch is slipping. There was a dude in a white mustang that went right after me, he almost hit the wall because of it.
Oh an my brother ran a 48 second 1/4 because his throttle cable popped off lololol. He idled in second the whole damn track hahahah. When he finally made it the crowed went wild
Good job to everyone who went and did work !!!

I got through the lights at 95 last night.
If I can find my damn slip I would tell you my 1/8 mile. My launch made me happy though. It felt really good
My plan is to swap in a stock clutch by the end of the summer to prove to those clutchmasters *******s that they sent me a faulty piece.
I emailed them in September about the lockout and all they said was " that's common problem with evo's , it's not our clutch". Typical response. Meh
But I'm done dragging this year. I'm ready for some twisties

Not driving it doesn't count
You'd go 4 months in a MINI.
Rainy as ****. I imagine as the night went on a lot of people left like I did and the track cleared up reasonably. The line was massive despite the rain, so I got a few laps to feel like my money's worth and left. Also, don't EVER do the Autocross.... I added it to the track time (because you can for $5) and the most fun I had doing it was the launch with tires spinning all through 1st and half of 2nd.... Otherwise the course was nothing like even a regular autocross course.
No karts obviously.

However, I will say the MINI was insane amounts of fun on the track, even with fail wheel drive and no power. I actually "drifted" a few corners my last run because of how wet the track is, the car is insanely well balanced. Too much gas = understeer, too much brake = oversteer. It's perfectly controllable, I have no idea why people would say it understeers too much, it understeers less than my STi or Evo (pre coilovers) did. The only annoyance was that getting on the power too soon coming out of the corner meant sliding a little due to massive power-on understeer, but that's unavoidable just like power-on oversteer would be on a RWD car. And yes, I know no one cares
I'll be going out there for at least one Lap Battle and doing some autocrossing in it for sure.
