***Official UT Chat Thread***
Dude you guys haven't seen pouring rain until you have seen some of the storms in Memphis. Spurts of tornado warnings with lots of high win crazy rain and some hail once in a while. This happens once a week lol like last night.
Gents,
After rocking the Cobb stage 2 accessport map, and fiddling wit the tune myself for a bit, I decided I'd like to have someone with a bit more experience have a try.
I scheduled a trip down to ziptie dynowerks and their in-house tuner, Jessie. I unmarried the accessport while they installed a jdm map sensor, then Jessie dropped a base map on the car and they got to work.
Mods:
ported polished stock exhaust manifold, (ported by fairclough) ceramic coated
Megan o2 housing, ceramic coated
Cobb down pipe, ceramic coated
Cobb test pipe, ceramic coated
Invidia CBE
Nisei licp
Grimmspeed 3-port ebcs
Baseline:257/246
Final: 298/284
i have a video of it pulling 301/285, but the printout they gave me was from a run doing 298/284.
My understanding is that these aren't bad numbers for my mods and that particular mustang dyno.
I'm very pleased with the way the car is running. The difference between my "tune" and a proper one is night and day. I'm not at all suggesting that this is everyone's experience, just sharing mine. All the guys were very nice, and except for a few miscommunications leading up to the appt, things couldn't have gone more smoothly.
For those on the fence about having your car tuned at ziptie, I'd say you're in great hands.

Yes, they did get tehpramod setup with the CEL flashing on knock also. It's pretty sweet!
Sweet those guys are awesome. Good #'s as well.
This makes me want to go dyno my car now lol.
I probably need head studs for more than 25psi-redline eh? I'm tired of 25 psi.... jk
