***Official UT Chat Thread***
Man ... when I asked for rim help for my very worthy Pontiac G8GT I got the shaft from this thread, and I still own an Evo.
I think UT_Evo should just go for this:

and be done with it.

"During Official Lap Battle events, each competitor will receive two(2) fully timed 20 minute practice sessions and one(1) qualifying session. Then, the top three(3) finishing competitors in each class, determined by their qualifying lap times, move onto the final Lap Battle session to blast away the competition with their fastest laps of the day."
everyone is guaranteed 3 twenty minute sessions. if you qualify in top 3 of your class in the 3rd session, you get to move on to a 4th session.
that makes it 18 drivers into the 4th session
(race fwd, street fwd, race rwd, street rwd, race awd, street awd)

So if all you want is seat time rather than any sort of competition then the Open Track day is a better deal since you are guaranteed 4 - 20 minute sessions? The price difference makes total sense if you're looking for a competitive environment with rewards for winning, but with no PDX anymore I just want to get a chance to test out the ol'/new Mini out there.
I wonder if I'd be able to make it in to the top 3 of street FWD with nearly bald factory tires...

I'll be there with all my STi stuff... Assuming the wheels will fit in the MINI....
How is the swap part working if there is no "trunk sales" like last time? Do we just set up our stuff and hope no one steals it?

Edit: Oh ****, just realized that's my rotation on Sunday to work...
If I get wheels and tires in time I'll just have to come out to the Saturday event.

Same guy that had the K1s I think... Selling his other set instead... These should fit perfectly
Now to get these for 700 used or get a new set of RPF1s in black for 900...
