So it is $900 approx for the repair on two wheels and then to have the 4 powdercoated/black. Anyone have any good or bad experiences with these guys? Anyone looking to sell 4 pristine BBS wheels? ( I would use them as a winter set). thanks!
They do good work. But that is a bit over priced imo. Depending on the amount of damage done I would say do it yourself with bondo or wheel weld .

I am hoping since this is the first one it will be the least crowded.
This is one of those times I wish I lived much closer to the track.

I had around 17k into mine at one point. When my stuff was taken they got away with 6-7k in aftermarket parts
Yeah the appraiser came back and helped a little bit too. Total they're going to give me just under 23k after my deductible. The crappy part though is they still want just barely under 6k for the car for salvage, and evidently I have to pay that up front out of pocket, I can't take it out of the settlement.

Wonder why they won't let you take it of the settlement? When I did mine that is exactly how it was handled.

They said that because it has a lien on it (I still had a small loan on it from the credit union) that it all has to be resolved first or something, and they can't pay out til it's resolved, or something strange like that. I'm going to call them tomorrow and try and work it out cuz I think that's really strange too.

stripped the evo down some more.

but then got the engine bay painted.

interior this week sometime hopefully. at least i can finally start ASSEMBLING the car again. parts will be going back in to stay finally, yay! right now i'm waiting for a lot of parts to come in.

today got the new clutch. act 6 puck ceramic. had exchange parts (1700s, 230w 801-485-3051) resurface my flywheel and pressure plate. ps i really like that place, they did my wrx clutch too and are always super helpful, fast, and cheap. they built me a half organic, half ceramic disc before that was awesome.

Nice that 6 puck should be good on a race car and hopefully last longer than the last. What color is the car going to be? While like the engine bay?
