How much do you want for the whole car ??
If you part it out I would take a few things off your hands
Rear bumper and the trans I would be interested in. You can pm me if that's easier

If you end up parting it out, I might be interested in a few oddball parts.

I've scrapped a few vehicles before, If you have the title there will be no problem. If you don't have the title you will need to find somebody that can wad it up into something unrecognizable

Steel prices aren't that bad right now.

Good to know. I'll have the title back shortly, so that wouldn't be an issue. If I do go the part it out route, I'll probably post a thread to see what people need/want.

I have used a few different act clutches before and have always liked them. This will be the first 6 puck though, I'm excited to see how it is.

As I understand, the car was around 2,900 complete when I bought it, never had it on scales. But I have been doing a lot of weight reduction since I got it, and a ton this winter, so we will see I'm very anxious to see what it comes out to. Hopefully only a few more weeks.

+1 on what this thing weighs
Yes sir, the engine bay and interior are flat white. Exterior will be the same color white, but more satin finish. Wheel wells are going to be black just because race rubber will not make white look good very quickly haha. Last, the hood/roof/trunk will be satin black. Wheels will be red. Things are FINALLY coming together yay!

I had the HD PP with street disc first, it held 400/400 all year no issues but always had lockout problems, so when i went to the fp black i put that same 6 puc in and once again held power fine but still had lockout issues, and my trans had been rebuilt

i wish i had went with a twin disc but just didnt have the money at the time, ive always loved act back in my honda days but seems they had a issues with evos, i wish i could find where i read they changed something on the design that was supposed to help

I loved my carbonetic twin-disc, other than being noisy it was great.

I've gone with a OSGiken TS2B ... I'm beginning to wonder if OSGiken is the dirty little secret in clutches. They are pricey, especially since one has to purchase a pull to push system, but I'm hoping to save all of the headache of pulling the tranny again.
Anybody have any reports on them?

Im throwing this out to my fellow Utahn's. Ive come across an 03' Apex VIII that I'm looking to buy. Its got quite a bit of stuff done to it, but its def been neglected and most likely street raced. Its been sitting since 2010, and def needs to be cleaned and refreshed. Its from Ogden or the surrounding area's. Anyone with any info about the car, owner, anything would be great if you could enlighten me.

That car looks familiar, does it have a stock location 30r?

If it belonged to the kid I think it did, you will be in for a lot of heartache.

EDIT: Looked a bit closer & yeah that's the car....avoid it like the plague!!!

Cavet Emptor ...

I'd at least plan on a long block, support hardware, and a full transmission build, including transfer case.
You'll also need to plan on a wiring harness redo to some point.
Plan on also suspension work, I suspect bushing and components are going to be thrashed.

I really think I would be into a long block at this point, and on more free time go through the motor and blueprint it.

If I were in a good mood, 3k. If I was in a really good mood 5k. (Assuming a minimum 5k to get it running where it should be.)

For the love of all that's good ... get rid of those rims and tires.

You guys def help someone make up their mind. I've been working with the bank and trying to settle on a price (it got repo'd), and I feel their going to want alot more than what its worth. They don't even have the original keys for it, so its just sitting waiting for Mitsu to get the new keys to them to try and start it. So, I haven't any clue if it even runs or not.

Judging by first impressions of the car, yes its been beat on (bad), and I was planning on ALOT of work, but doing the motor/trans/transf-case/diffs!?! Thats going to be to much on me right now. I'll most likely pass on it. Thanks for the insight, its greatly appreciated.
