I can't tell you how many glares and brushoffs I get from the VW's out around town. Seems like everyone with a Streamline Industries sticker or plate frame has it out for me. I've noticed not many are that quick...

Ya I will probably never own a Audi in my life
Not a a fan of them after the ones I have to deal with at one of my jobs and with the problems all my friends have had with them. BMW, Mercedes, and Porsche are the only German cars I like
lol ... oh well ... flat black, eh? Interesting ... Nothing is really wrong with the Evo. I've been collecting parts, so it was high time for the parts install and freshening.
The car started with basically suspension. I was able to source an install from Paul Gerrard when he was doing some suspension development for the Evo back in '05 / '06.
The motor has been kept stock as it was my DD for a lot of years. I've got a set of Cams as per gearhead's suggestions on cams, dp, exhaust, and trying to source a stock frame turbo for the near future. Of course while things are down, its getting a clutch, front diff, and I would like to source a rear diff mod, but I think I'm going to need to send that one off to Shep. Hopefully he can keep me in a reasonable SCCA class.

After all of the tweaks a few cosmetic things go on, and the tuning starts. I'm hoping to go tephra 5.1 and then jump to tephra 7,and convert to a MAP system, but I'll take that development a little slower.
Suggestions are always welcome.

Thanks for the updates. Its funny how folks will (like Nas) will gravitate towards sources of knowledge, but all they really do is run from one money pit to the other.

That sounds like a fun build. Should be an awesome car when you're done. If you ever need a hand with anything, let me know. I'll admit I'm not an expert on the suspension and drive train side of things (though I'd love to learn more), but I'm pretty good with engine work, turbo setups, and tuning.
None of that should come as a surprise seeing as how I've always been a dsmer lol. It was all about going as fast as possible in a straight line. I'm certainly enjoying throwing handling and braking into the mix though
^ LS swapped 240?
Looks like fun
Anyone interested in some parts. I would like to try to get rid of it local first before I deal with shipping.

I'm going to say it is the most fun car I have driven. First gear is useless lol. I was sad getting into the evo. My evo is faster, but the 240 is hands down the funner of the two.
Post up the go-pro-ness !
Apparently I wasn't driving hard enough yesterday, I am the only one out my group that didn't spin out lol. I will be doing the rear diff mod soon, there is nothing like having some tail-out fun :-)
