as a temporary fix, i am looking for 2 rims that have wheels on them that will for sure fit a evo 9. i just need to get my car in the garage after the tow truck drops it off then it will be put up on stands. no miles will be put on the tires well. like 25 feet.. haha. but if you have 2 spares i can rent please let me know.
I will be in the salt lake valley this afternoon.

Non mobile version. Killer prices though!
Easy job, and yes if it is making a clicking it needs to be replaced because the boot is probably torn and all of the grease is gone
Also, just because the boot is intact visually there can be hairline cracks in the folds that would allow outside air and dirt to enter the boot and damage the bearings and their races. I've also seen where there was no apparent damage to the boot but upon further inspection the bearings were beginning to wear. Check them both though. If you need help or just want someone to do them for you hit me up. I'm in Syracuse and am cheap.

cool ill hit you up when ever i find a nice set of axels.
Contact Jack at Jack's Transmissions out in Colorado. While I was visiting Colorado I met up with these guys and had my tranny built and my tcase refreshed. We actually got to talking about axles and whether or not they were salvagable and guess what, they are! Hit him up and he should be able to rebuild them since Mitsubishi sells the axles in a modular configuration meaning you can get the parts and put it back together for way less than an OEM axle.
