Anyway, sold my MINI in the summer and bought a 2012 GTI. Lovin' it. It is going in for a downpipe and tune on Monday (full turbo-back doesn't add a whole lot more beyond noise and the downpipe/cat are where the main restrictions are). Gonna be a perfect DD at that point.

I'm also the proud owner of a 1995 Miata as of about a week ago. So there's a high chance I'll be getting back to autocross a lot more than I used to. Can't track it though since it has no roll bar and I don't want to put one in all that much right now.

Hope you're all doing well. Especially Sam... Looks like your car has been filled with issues man. You going to Tiesto next Saturday?

Can anyone recommend a good body shop?

The previous owner of my Evo took a corner too sharp and scraped up one of the doors a bit. It's subtle enough that no one ever notices unless I point it out, but it's starting to bother me.

I don't need the best shop around, since I'll just be smashing the car into cones all the time anyway. But I do need someone who will do a good job at the right price.

Welcome back Jake Long time I know I have driven the new 4 door GTI's and like them a lot Sounds like a good mod list for a DD. Want it to be reliable.

Miata will make for some great cornering and fun.

Tiesto at Get lucky I just picked up my ticket today!

I'm moving some things around in my car and would like to re-corner balance it. The scales I have used in the past are no longer available.
I know a shop or two with scales, not sure if they would be willing to rent them out or not though. I can refer you there number if you would like though.

Where are you located? I know of a few shops down in southern SLC county and Utah county that I would recommend.

Thanks,
Dallin

No I'm not that old age wise but I've been around here for a good amount of years now. Had my car like 4 and a half now. Been on here long enough that I was there for the antelope island meet with jake and all the old utah evos crew.

I'm not far from RallySport Direct. Southern Salt Lake County would be perfect.

I have had a few friends have work done by Cascade Collision in Lehi and they do excellent work. I also know a guy with a small shop down in Provo that does excellent work as well. You can PM me if you would like more info on the friend with the small shop. Cascade I don't know their contact info off of the top of my head, but they are well know there in Lehi.

Thanks,
Dallin

I think I may have a line on a set.

Thanks, If this other set falls through I'll let you know. I'm doubtful that a shop would want to rent theirs out though, they would rather do it for me which will never happen.
