My buddy and his wife are sort of into it and I might be taking the dive into it. But I would rather just ride my dirt bike haha

Does anyone know where i can find the HVAC relocation kit? I want to do a double din but i cant find a relocation for the HVAC controls

Haha Well just wanted to see if any of the Evo guys where into it. I am going tomorrow Evening to hit up Bobsled Run up in SLC area somewhere. Friend told me about it so Going to try it for my first time. I usually do some down hill Trails around Draper on the mountain there by Suncrest or Squaw Peak in Provo.

So amazing I am going to go try that right now in my car but I will try it with some cones first

Now a fan of utahPACE, wanted to make some suggestions:

I took a look at your info page and you sound pretty exclusive. Small, exclusive clubs are fine and all, but the language chosen almost makes it sound like if you want to be part of the club you need to be invited to any of the meets, which doesn't necessarily scream "welcoming group."

I've met jason in person, and I know this isn't the image you are trying to create, as everyone has been pretty awesome and welcoming. Just wanted to provide some feedback.

 

I don't know for a fact, but I believe this is a misunderstanding on what they (UtahPACE) are and what the general club/group is. Their actual club/group IS small and exclusive. Currently I believe it is: JR, Jason, Saul, Josue, Nate, Bobby.

The idea, I think, is that everyone is welcome. But only the select few can truly call themselves members of UtahPACE.

I'm under the same impression you are, and that it is a misunderstanding. It's not even that they are being mean. What I am suggesting is simply that you really want to be careful. Advertising yourself as a small group, but not establishing any sort of guidelines for membership is a bit ambiguous. There is the possibility of politics coming in to play with regards to new members, and potentially promotes an elitist attitude that I don't think any of these guys carry, nor do they want to present.

Nothing wrong with being small and exclusive. Just draw up some guidelines that would make one eligible for such a group, or just say they aren't taking on new members, but love hanging out with all kinds of enthusiasts. Leaving it up to interpretation suggests to me that its all based upon these guys sitting down together and deciding if you are "in." IMO, this can lead to poor politics and bad blood; potentially not a problem, unless of course you were trying to build up the foundation of a new car enthusiast forum...
