Man no local EVO's wanta hang

 

i'm not from Hawaii but i was at Maui about a week ago for 2 weeks and i didn't see any EVO. I did see a black STI, a White Bentley covertible, a couple of hooked up WRX and a bunch of riced out Civics. I was thinking they were in the other island but seeing what you guys are saying....i guess not.

That's what I had to do. My EVO came from HB !! Stupid dealer here trying to charge me over 35K for a EVO.

Where did you purchase your Evo? What's HB? I live on Oahu and am thinking of purchasing an Evo but noticed the same thing you did about the pricing at our sole Mitsu dealership.

Have you had any issues with having any service done at the local dealer?

 

Man I got so tired dealing with those guys saying they would give me a good deal. I talked to a bunch of guys who bought from them and they all paid 35K and up for their cars. I called a bunch of dealers around LA and they all had tons of evo's in all the colors and options you could ask for. I got mine for $29,182 with carbon wing no sunroof out the door everything included. The local dealer has to honor your Mitsu warranty regardless of where you bought the car. It was so frustrating trying to get a decent price from these greedy bastards. Calling Hunting Beach Mitsu was so easy they were easy to work with and handle everything including shipping for you. Yes they seem to be trying to take advantage of their monopoly here. Oh well, I have no problem ordering the car from the mainland if need be.

 

I could see when the car first came out but they have a bunch of cars now. What really pissed me of was how they tell you they will hook you up with a great deal and they show the deal and it isn't discounted one red cent.
