The best price I've seen so far was in the LA times at $27,659 a few days ago in the classified dealer section. It was a yellow with a wing no sunroof including destination but not taxes.

I've heard there are a bunch of unsold 03's at the ports and 04's are here too but Mitubishi is waiting to clear out the 03's first. One sales manager who wouldn't match that price told me to wait until mid January because they'll be getting a rebate to move the rest of the 03's and then he'll more than beat that price. He wanted to hold a deposit for me until then. Yeah, right!

For a few weeks it's worth the wait and it makes sense that the car will be worth less in '04.

They show depreciation of about $275 a month so since a lot of EVOs will still be left over, these could sell easily for $27K flat w/ a wing in January, maybe less. As you can see, the dealer cost is $27092 (wing included in this price at $411) with holdback and destination cancelling themselves out, so they realistically could drop the price if a rebate comes through.

It's a buyers market.

 

there are no 04 evos out there, 04's wont be out until early to mid of next year.

 

Yeah, they're not at the dealerships. I heard they're in storage at Port Hueneme with a bunch of 03's.

Apparently they're not selling fast enough. A dealer told me today he'd take $500-$1000 off of Invoice! That's not msrp.

 

And which dealership was this?

 

you guys have it lucky! our dealers here are asking 35,000 and didn't seem to want to come off of that.

 

Do your homework. I'm not plugging any one dealership, but he's within a 60 mile radius of your home in Santa Monica and he advertises periodically with "one at this price".

Ask for the "internet" or "fleet manager".

You'll find it if you want it.

and

1 white with Big wing, no sunroof.


All at MSRP. The yellow one does have front air dams, front brace, and brake cooling guides which is a little bit of $$$ added for.
