Sounds fun! I'm going for it on a full street build. Car will be filled up at a gas station driven there and driven back. Miiiiight run E98 but not quite sure right now. Its all a waiting game for me. Waiting on my new Magnus V3 manifold that wont even be in production for another month or so. My forward facing exhaust race manifold is being built currently along with the stubby 6.5" intercooler and piping (only upper pipe, no lower pipe, direct connection)

The machine shop has been taking WAAAAY too long on the machine work, I need the stuff back soon to finish putting the motor together but all in all its been a fun journey lol. Lots of cars in between and I am sure more to come.

When do you plan on being ready?

That place is a waste of time.. always has been but I've been a member since like '01 lol. After I retired the RX8 and all the car shows died, there's no point. I sold my NSX, sold my TL and now the only Honda I have is the Accord (although I am still eyeballing one of those fugly Ridgelines lol)

I still stop in to check out a few things but I haven't posted in the NorCal section in AGES...

I'm still waiting on the EFR turbos to be released then the front facing kit can start being fabbed. Cagework on the car has started and is looking to be the perfect setup for NHRA certified cages in a street car still easy to get in and out with no swingouts and room for my two little girls in the back.

I have all the powertrain stuff sitting in my garage so thats all taken care of. I'll be running regular pump e85 as well.

I HOPE the car will be done by the end of july, it's been down almost a year now for the build, I don't want to rush anything at this point...stuff gets expensive!

I thought about the EFRs.. Just couldn't pull the trigger. Still running my S475 and my HX52pro possibly. Waiting on Borg to release their updated S400 line with the EFR styled billet wheels.. They will be beastly but I just couldn't justify the price to performance ratio to wait around. Hope it all works for you and pans out.

At the rate things are going I could be done as early as June but I'm not in a rush, just want the car runnin and tested before the end of summer and then I'll be satisfied lol.

I wasn't really in a spot to do any price/performance comparisons to what I had on the car since it was only the stocker...which after a year of beating on it finally blew. The EFR series sounded pretty cool and I wanted to try something new, I just hope they live up to the hype.

In all honesty I just want the car down here instead of back up in Humboldt, but the cagework has to be completed first. Testing by the end of summer would be ideal though. Living so close to the track makes it rough when I can here the guys running over there.

I've been kicking around the idea of running those wheels for my street setup. Nice looking car do you run at sac raceway at all?

Welcome Siakol. I dig the wheels as well just not in Bronze. Looks good on white though. We are working on getting together sometime soon. Hope you will be able to make it. Check back here for details.

Welcome

Well guys when out for some logging and re-tune tonight and ive never been happier with the results.

started pretty hard at 25psi, ran great producing 323hp.

But that's not what i was looking for so we went ahead tuned it down to 21psi leaned it out a bit, and got a extremely nice daily driver map, that came out perfect, producing 276hp. Ill have some log sheets and results posted pretty soon

Who did you have tuning it? Why would you prefer 276 over 323 if it was a safe tune? My middle of the road 91 tune is 26psi. The details are in the timing my friend.

If you are referring to me then you're damn right! I'm abusing the stock turbo but your tune is super conservative. These turbos are pretty inexpensive these days. You still didn't mention who you had tuning the car. Anyhow when we go on a cruise I hope you like the looks of the rear of my Apex Silver azzz cuz that's all you'll be seeing. Just playin bro. You have different objectives with your ride then I do. Hope you enjoy how its running now.

Thanks for the welcome.

sho669 I don't take it to the track, I baby the car so much I just do spirited driving.

4xforce Those wheels are actually gold and not bronze, it was a pretty good deal on here I couldn't pass up you'll see it one of these days when you guys do decide to meet up.

sacevo9mr I'm confused too with your tune. to each his own I say though.
