SACRAMENTO nine1sickness post up your rides!!!
What's funny is that I drive trains over that crossing and would hate to plow into an Evo. I would however check the remains for some nice parts about 1000' down the tracks. Once I have some decent pics I will post mine. Go nine1sickness!!! Got my IX tuned by Jay at Boosted Tuning in Chico today. Runs great and pulls hard. Definitely recommend him.

Jay charges $300 for the initial tune and $100 for an extra map or a touch up tune. There are a few other charges involved if you want a Tephra rom or ecu controlled boost. I would not let just anybody tune my car. Jay and I talked a lot prior to my tune and I made sure of who I was dealing with and what to expect. I could easily tell somebody I can tune their ride as I have a very basic tuning knowledge especially to somebody who doesn't know much about tuning but I don't think the outcome would be something worth paying for. Here you do get what you pay for. Good luck.
That's the reason I wouldn't mind spending money on going to someone I trust, but all I'm really looking to have is a tune that 19 to 21 psi that spools at 3rpm, and right now just using hallman pro bc
Call Jay and talk with him about it. He may cut you a deal if you just want some basic adjustments. It would be worth it in the long run for the full $300 as you can go back later for retunes at a cheaper price. Plus this will make sure that no parameter has gone unchecked and your car will run well with the new power. If you look around at places like Mellon Tuning and others that offer email tunes Boosted Tuning is in line with their prices. Also he is somewhat local so you can get a road tune in person. By the way it's plenty safe to run more than 20psi. My 91 pisstane tune spiked to 26psi.

Yeah with the mods I have people are telling me to run 25ish but I use myn as my dd and already has 75k miles so trying to take it easy on it. I wouldn't mind it if it was a late spool so I could do daily driving without the turbo and only kick it in when needed
25psi would be fine. If you are trying to save the motor you can tune the torque curve a little to keep it to a minimum down low or just keep your foot out of it most of the time. Give Jay a call or pm him.
Heres a couple pics of mine, nothing fancy in these!

Here a shot of it at the strip. Stock clutch is starting to give up, 11.7's were the usuall before the clutch went, the turbo went soon thereafter.

So that brings me to the build...got some stuff missing here!

Some of the new stuff...changed the bearings to the race version

AWD D2's, Rx7 FD wheels for slicks, arp studs all around

The 5" FMIC to keep the air cool in the summer
this things awesome!

AMS F1-I and 75mm TB

I'll post up more info on the car when I do a build thread. I'm going to be running the Borg Warner EFR 9180 on my LR2.0 with E85. Cagework on the car starts in january along with the reassembly, engine is almost done now. Buying a house slowed down the build a little but the wife wants to see some 8 sec et's so thats what I'm going for!
Oh yeah! Heres the daily beater!
05 Altima 2.5s with a couple of boltons.

It's a slug but it hauls the kids around nicely!
