Question for HI Evo owners

Hey everyone, so I recently moved here from Cali and have not yet brought my car over yet. I'm just wondering is there anything I have to look out for as far as SMOG laws go or law enforcement?

Go to the Hawaii evo thread and they can help you. But no smog tests. Just safety tests and recon.

just make sure that your evo has no parts that can be moved around in the engine bay. seatbelts and horn lights and wipers work. no droppin your car more that 2 in. and you should be good. if not then you have to get a recon sticker. which is a pain in the butt.

your car can be dropped more than 2 inches it just needs a recon permit for any type of drop. and law enforcement won't really be on your a** unless you are driving really aggressively

i believe takashi02 is correct. the only thing you'll need to be aware of regarding drop is your license plate has to be a minimum of 12" off the ground and your headlights need to be a minimum of 20" off. or something like that. it's been a while since i've gone to recon. i know some of their rules have changed.
