good choice, the only turn-off for me is the size. love the look, really love the look but i dont really like to compromise performance. i saw the post with the J8s for 1600ish, good price. the lowest i found was 2100 shipped.

on another note, have you ran your friend's g35?

 

IMO the J8 will mess with the performance of your car....you will be feeling a little lag running with those rims....19" and think it was 'bout 22-24lbs per wheel....but i gotta admit, they do look nice....

z2evo..i havent drove it but we have raced while we were out there..is anyone going to be at the track tonight.im thinking about going out...not sure if im going to run though,waiting till my exhaust gets here...where did you see the j8s for 2100 shipped.

 

who won the race? i used to have a Z and was just curious as to the outcome. as far as the track, i think it is pro gas night.

Sounds like you really like it. I think it looks like a quality set. Better than most out there. couple of questions for ya though...

did you have to make any modifications to make the exhaust fit? does it throw any codes without the cat?

 

no modifications whatsoever......fitment is really precise
no it does not throw any codes....but you do need to cut and solder the wires of the o2sensor to fit in the re-located o2 sensor area......hope that answers your questions.....

nvsevo: yes you answered my questions, thanks. one more though. does the exhaust come with instructions for relocating the O2 sensor? are you just relocating the sensor or putting it in some kind of loop to make the ecu think there is still a cat?

z2evo...yeah i won,he is running like 14.6's or so,he;s got 19's so he runs just a bit slower...its a good race because im still learning how to launch.

 

once you see the test pipe, its pretty much self explanatory.....
if you want, we could meet up and you could see it for yourself one day.....

 

that is what i figured. from what i remember of my z, it just doesnt have enough to make up for the evo's launch. but i figure my opinion is a little biased now since i hate the freakin 350 with a passion and love my evo.
