FFTEC Motorsports Daily Photo Log
The breakfast of champions, coffee and Cinnamon rolls!

We also received a Voltex Type V Carbon wing for an Evo 9.

This beast is finally on the rollers. We'll post more information after we've finished tuning.

We had this BMW 335i come in today for an updated flash. I'm not sure if you can tell from the pictures, but it's been repainted a Lamborghini pear white.

Fabrication has begun on the Porsche 20B. We're going to start with re-positioning the radiator cap for better clearance with the intercooler pipe.

Our Evo 9 is getting close to being finished up. The intercooler piping is all powder coated and installed. We'll make some finishing touches to the car, put in some fresh E85 and get her ready to tune.

Can anyone spot the rare JDM parts in this photo?

James got a hold of an old Yashio Factory warning gauge that makes a cowbell noise when it reaches the warning temperature. He also had to fabricate some custom mounts to ensure all the ducting and vents work.

Today we installed Function Form Coilovers and did a brake fluid bleed on this Evo 8. I helped finalize the design, and fitment of these coilovers with Function Form.

We're continuing work on the Porsche. We'll be re-making the intercooler pipe and adjusting it for proper fitment.

The black Porsche is still on the dyno tuning. It uses an older Motec EMS. It's funny how much the operating software looks like the BIOS start up menus on a Windows computer.

One of the white Evo 9 projects is leaving today. She's coming back after engine break in for a full tune.

This Evo is getting a new GTX Bolt on turbocharger installed.

Our fab team is re-organizing. We'll be getting even more new equipment shipped in over the next few days.

Happy Monday everyone!
We're starting out the week with an Evo X teardown.

The owner was kind enough to get the work started, so this should be a breeze.

This Evo 9 MR is finished. We're burping the cooling system before she heads off to the dyno for tuning.

Another familiar suspect is back in the shop. We're taking care of some maintenance items before the new front facing turbo kit is ready to install.

The roll cage on our shop 996 turbo is coming along.

We've started taking apart Pandora One.

The aforementioned Evo 9 hitting the rollers.

When the weather clears up, we'll be taking this beast out to the track. We decided to test fit a new set of shoes first.

Warning:
Today's post will contain a considerable lack of Evo content. This content will be replaced with pictures of our shop 996 turbo. If you are not a fan of taking a completely useful car and turning it into a racecar, do not look any further into today's post. You won't like it.
The roof has been taped off. We'll be drilling out the rivets, and removing the roof. Soon this will be replaced with a carbon fiber panel that deletes the sun roof.

We're cutting out the spot welds to remove a portion of the cage.

The back half of the cage is waiting to be painted, and re-installed.

There's a lot of (insert preferred large behind saying of your choice) in this photo.
Today we had another non Evo come by for a visit.

I really like the manual door latch override. It reminds me of a fighter plan eject

We finished replacing the turbo on an Evo 9 today.

This EB Evo 9 got her tune today.
