Need help buying an Evo

Hey guys, I've recently found a 2005 Evo 8 in WW near SF with 38,000 miles, I've checked the car out myself and it looks pretty clean in and out and drives smooth and nicely, but it is my first time owning an Evo so I feel like my judgments are a bit inexperienced. We are supposed to work out the deal by this Monday, but I'd feel more comfortable if an experienced individual can give me a peace of mind that this Evo will be reliable for me. If anyone is experienced with Evos and lives in the area and wouldn't mind going to look at it with me that would be great or if someone can suggest an experienced shop near San Francisco or San Jose that can do an inspection on it.
As far as I know, the parts on the car are as follows:
-Megan Exhaust Manifold
-Aftermarket BoV (Not sure what brand it was but it's red)
-Greddy Evo 2 Exhaust
-Tein SuperStreet Damper Coilovers
-ARC Airbox
-Koyo Racing Radiator
-Turbo Timer
-Greddy RSpec Intercooler Kit
-ACT Heavy Duty Street Clutch
-Streetlite Flywheel
-He said he also has upgraded cams, but I wasn't able to verify what brand or type they were
If anyone can offer me some help or input on this, it'd be greatly appreciated, the car seems to be in very good condition inside and outside, and he has done an Evo 9 conversion on the front.
Thanks !

If you're in Santa Clara, Speed Element in San Jose is very close.

You can take the car to Speed Element, GST or FFTEC to get it inspected.

What area code is the car in? Is it actually in SF? 415?
