Unhappy Pulled over in SoCal :( NEED ANSWERS/OPINIONS

Noob here ,

Hi guys i need answers, opinions anything will help really. So got pulled over today for
27156 (B) Modified Emissions and loud exhaust. I have an appointment with the STATE REF at El Camino College on the 24 of November. The Cop did ask me to pop my hood which i did have the ETS intake and he told me that Mitsu' doesn't sell this, and then he took a snapshot of it, and my exhaust is the ETS V2 Catback told me it was loud within 5 feet lol but he didn't look under my Evo, i still have my stock catalytic converter. He writes the citation and etc and gives me information for the ref.

So I have questions,
1.when taking it to the ref since i obviously don't have the stock air box on should i just swap it back? (I still have it)

2.Do I have to go to court for this if i pass?

3. If i do go to court will/can the cop be there since he does have a pic of my ETS intake?

4. What should i do? lol

5. Can the ref say something about my exhaust (V2 catback which it does have "Mufflers")?

6. Do i have to pay for the court?

I am major noob, sorry

I know there other threads about this but i could find answers that i was aiming for.

What i am a little more concern is the court thing and the stupid cop with a pic of my Intake.

Thank you guys, sorry still a noob Yes i know i need to pay to play but i want to get out of this clean.

Maybe swap your stock exhaust back on for the REF appointment.

You need to put all stock items on. Then go to the ref. pass the ref test and then you can pay a fixit tocket like normal.

If you have to go to state ref your car needs to be 100% stock. These guys are not your local cops or smog stations. You will not fool them with any modified parts.

Should be up and running soon. If I get pulled over out here I'll non-op the car and trailer it to and from. Not gonna switch everything back to stock. Altho I still have AZ plates.

you didn't have to open your hood for the cop.. i do not think there is any laws stating you have to open your hood for cops.

CA Vehicle code section 2804

A member of the California Highway Patrol upon resonable belief that any vehicle is being operated in violation of any of the provisions of this code or is in such unsafe condition as to endanger any person, may require the driver of the vehicle to stop and submit to an inspection of the vehicle, and its equipment, license plates, and registration card.

Inspection of the vehicle means under the hood.
