KT Motoring in Chatsworth. Used them from 2011-2013, and 2019 to now. I have tracked my car many times with their tunes and have had no issues. Even did a cross country trip in my Evo from SoCal to Maine and back without issue

Many of us in So.Cal use RRE in Sante Fe Springs. Im curious about our YouTuber RoniBuilt (he has been renting RRE's Dyno recently & tuning).

Obviously there's the legacy of RRE, and I look forward to going there for my next visit. But I went to K1 Motoring in Chatsworth because they're much closer to me. 10/10 experience all around. Khiem the owner personally came to the dealer and did a pre purchase inspection on my Evo before I bought it; very nice guy, professional, and an expert on our platform. Three weeks ago I had them do my 60k service, and brake/tranny/ACD fluid. Excellent service and attention to detail. Can't say enough good things, glad I have a top notch shop that specializes in our cars only 25 minutes from me.

How much was the 60k service? I've had my IX since new but hardly drive it. I just hit 65k.

I might as well finally get it tuned lol

about $2k, but i also had my tranny, transfer case and rear differential fluid changed

mileage aside, i would get yours changed asap just because of the years that have elapsed...

What else did they do other than the fluid change? I need a tune too. I feel out of the scene and stopped mod'ing and just drove it as a weekend warrior. Now it barely leaves the garage and sees the road 1-2 times a month. It's still so pretty tho lol

I've been hearing RRE kinda dropped in service and customer service so I'll be staying away from them for now.

for service I recommend Cerritos Mitsubishi or KT motoring. The service manager at Cerritos is one of the evo OGs from 2003-2004 and knows the platform well. For tuning check out performance plus tuning.

well they did the standard 60k service procedure: timing belt, tensioner, pulleys, water pump, etc etc. I also had brake fluid flushed as well, they tested it and it seemed to be quite old
