First things first i would talk to all of the tuners over the phone before you get your heart settled, get to know the tuner ect so you feel comfortable and know what to expect from him. as to shops there are

1. Road Race Engineering
2. Evasive
3. John at 5150
4. Church
5. Cobb
6. Yimi sport
7. tuning Technologies
8. Looney Tuning

Im missing a few im sure someone else will toss some up but those are what i can name quickly that are around us, also what mods do you have stock ECU ect because i only know of 2 places off the top of my head that tune the HKS Fcon Vpro ( john and Evasive ) but i know a bunch of places tune open source/ AEM so stuff to consider also.

Boosted tuning, Jay is the best tuner I've dealt with ( and I've dealt with a couple of other "great" tuners) hit him up, you won't be dissapointed.

Actually thats incorrect he started off tuning honda's but he tunes a little bit of everything, had 2 subies and a supra tuned there and both subies were track cars, 3 years no issues and i now daily drive the fully built sti due to other cars being down.

As i said your best bet is to call the different tuners and get a feel for how they tune and what to expect everyone has their preference.

Personally i would go

1 rre
2 evasive

thanks guys for the help. I will contact different tuners and narrow the list. now when it comes to $$$ who is over price? cause I have some parts and need them to install.
GSC S1 cams and ARP head Studs, boost controller and of course flash ecu. I constacted RRE and I was a lil disappointment on how they talk to me about all my AMS parts I bought. they made me feel like I over spend my $$$. when I know AMS has quality products.

Just speculation here, but perhaps you bought stuff that was not needed to reach your goals? Each tuner has specific stuff they like to work with that they know will perform to the expectations they are setting with their customers. You buy all this stuff from one place and take it to your tuner and want him to make it all work. The wise thing to do is talk with your chosen tuner and buy the stuff he recommends you need to reach your goals based on his experience. Everyone has different goals and expectations and its the tuners job to help you get what you want outta the car and the honest ones dont make you spend money on **** you dont need or overspend on stuff just because of a brand name.
