haha nope wasn't drinking. I just figured it out, vesko sent me the evo 8 installation kit for the 20g-9lt (evo green) turbo and the stock 8 outlet pipe is to close to the starter so the stock 9 turbo outlet pipe should make it all work. Evo 9 turbo FTMFW when I get to drive the ****ing thing I'll just unhook the licp and take off outlet pipe and wait till 7pm when the slc shuttle gets back in and put it all back together and hit some boost of course with some logging etc..

 

I should have read more closely I could have warned you. I ended up having to get a new starter from this exact problem with my white evo. The stock 9 pipe solved my issue and I still have the buschur one sitting in a box.

So basically, Wes, you gotta stick to the 18 and ups, since you're 27. And even at 17 your at least 10 years older than them.

 

Could be, mine happened at an autox and the starter kept trying to start the car even with no keys. We pulled it away as best we could and I drove it home thinking the issue was solved. Middle of the night the evo starts turning over in the garage. I had it towed and my mechanic told me the starter would work but the damage had been done and it was going to fail. I had it replaced and he built a little shield to keep it from rubbing. I tried to use the buschur pipe I had but decided it was way to long and then ordered the 9 pipe which shifts it away enough to keep it out of contact. Problem solved.

 

cool mine just killed the car & I think we got battery off it really fast **** within 5 minutes since I had to run a few blocks home to get something to yank it off with. I didn't have time to check last night for blown fuses but I'm sure there's a few of them . I just got home I'm ****ing beat from last night so I'm going to eat lunch then I'll check the fuses and I assume since vesko has a few 9 turbo's he's gotta have the stock 9 outlet pipe

Okay, but seriously: yes. that's actually more than fine by Utah laws because of the other part below the 16-17 note... which basically states this:

Anyone 14-15 can be considered consenting and legal as long as the actor is within 4 years of age... So... as sick as it is, an 18 yr-old could be with a 14 yr-old.

Apparently Utah is one of the only states to be that messed up. FLDS FTW
