From that comment I imagine that he may have had a reason to be "a freakin douche bag" to you. Then again, I don't know the kid at all, but I can say that I have shown little respect to people who have shown me little respect simply because of my age and the way I obtained my previous car. For the people who have given me a chance (largly a lot of the SCCA crew) they know my age and the way I obtained what I may have means little.

It isn't any different than Dr. Neurosurgeon with a Ferrari. He can choose to be an immature *******, or he can be respectful and therefore respectable. I don't remember his name, but I will always remember the guy that let me sit in his Carrera GT and look through it all without staring me down like I was going to take a **** in his car. I'd like to think that everyone is willing to give someone a chance before starting to judge them just by their cover. The two 16 year old guys I let look at my car will hopefully grow up with that kind of idea.

I hope the Evo owners from the early days know how much I appreciate letting me drool over their cars too. Though Ben is the closest anyone on here comes to 1st gen, and he let me go for a ride in his car to see how a modded Evo felt. I still remember that ride.

This starts getting into that age old EvoM argument of young kids with Evos etc. The point isn't how he got his money, his cars, or whatever. The point is how mature he is with it.

Hi Nick. Yup the parents helped me buy my white car and some parts. I dont care really. Its nice having parents support your hobbie. As far as the 08. That was purchased with money that was given to me when my grandfather passed away. But i am glad you think I am a douchbag. Talking **** over the internet is awesome isnt it?

Eric has that old honda e-thug thing going on haha I've got a couple friends that are probably douchebags and some of us older guys just might not like some of the young guys attitudes regardless of what kind of car there driving. Jake like you said the point isn't what he's got it's how he is with it. The friends I've met and have in Vegas are down to earth and then you've got some of the local kids around where I'm at who are the complete opposite and think there gods gift
