Utah Evos
ray use t-clamps i have them!!! like mitsu would know what those are jake... bwhhhhaahaa ray i'm 100% sure your clamp is the problem if you have ever seen ic pipes with 25psi runnin through them you would understand.. i have about 3 or 4 t-clamps you guys can buy from me. there like 4 to 5 bucks a peice, napa sells them but you have to buy them according to size like 2.5 or 3" clamps ect.
Mitsu does know what they are, the first time it happened 2 of the techs and the service manager told me I should get some.
Mitsu knows more than you guys give them credit for, as long as it's the Evo cert. guys, though they still don't know as much as most of you, but they haven't had many Evos to rip apart. What sizes are needed for all the intercooler hoses?

OR you can take the cheap ghetto way out and use hairspray
I would recommend T-clamps but if you can't get them right away I would recommend putting it on so you can run for a little bit.
Also ummm ray messing up alingments. Should I be scared

They didn't do anything, Mitsu corporate did, as far as I know of the story. They have covered everything they can under a dealership warranty. And I back them up more, because they're the only ones who can do quality work on my car whenever I need it for fairly cheap.

Well... I almost wrote a big story, and realized it was pointless... but no, no one saw us autocrossing, that whole story was that they pulled up racing info and matched the name to the car, last I heard though it was (to Mitsubishi) because of oil starvation (which the dealership and a few techs there said shouldn't have happened) that they restricted the warranty... basically Zach, I agree with you, I hate them with a passion, but they're open and readily available to do regular matenence on the car than Modern and I trust them more with my car than I do me or Jiffy Lube, and the service manager is a really nice guy, or at least appears to be... and they have replaced and done a lot of work for free no questions asked since that whole fiasco.
Jake, do me a favor, and ask them (mitsu) next time you go in what type of oil to use in the transmissinon, transfer case, and the rear diff. Consider it a type of favor for me, and let me know what they say.

Rob,
I just asked the Orem dealership what oil to use. They had no idea what Diaqueen was! They said on their service info to put good ol' 80-90W GL-5 in both the transfer case and rear diff. For the transmission they use diamond lube GL-4.
Ray,
You're welcome to borrow the boost leak tester I made. That way you can test all the fittings when you put the t-clamps on. I'll bring it to work tomorrow and drop it by the shop. Then you won't have to wonder if you still have a leak. I was wondering if you really liked your car that loose in the back end? You said you liked to throttle steer! That sucks though.
Zach,
Do you want me to bring back the part today or tomorrow?
Anyway, auto-x was super fun. I finished off my front tires, they are almost slicks now. I'd really like some race tires and camber plates so I could run at full potential. That was my 2nd auto-x, my first one I could care less about times and just wanted to have fun. I thought that was the way to go. Now all you competive sum-bitc-hs are making me want to run fast times and buy race tires. I hate you guys.
