Did the car sit for a while....after driving a few times is it still wet?
Is or was the car modified? There are alot of fools out there that don't know much, get in over their head & f_ck the car up...for that reason I think it's a bad idea to buy a used evo without thoroughly checking out the mechanical condition of the car.

Does the fan not work? Or does it just not blow hot air when you turn the temp dial to hot? If it is the latter, you have a broken knob. This is a common problem. You can find plenty of info on the forums. If the fan doesn't turn on at all, I'd go with what gearhead said. Hope that helps. Goodluck with everything and welcome to the club.
Is Resistance 2 as crappy as 1 was? I played that game the day I got it (and my PS3) and a few more times later on to demo the PS3 for friends/family/etc. And I haven't touched it since... I think I'm only on the first "level" still... Maybe the second. And Dead Space and Force Unleashed have been cool... But Fallout 3 definitely takes the cake.

**** I bought it too because my brother did but at least I could rock out with my **** out and you jam out with your clam out with 60 Players online for some craziness and the single player is alot better I haven't played it but my roomy is hooked. I think I'll go rent fallout 3 to check it out today

The fan does work and the a/c works but when i turn the dial to hot it doesn' blow hot air. Could it be the radiator?
I bought AS IS becuase i got a great deal, but it's a f*****g headache.

Jordan, I'm betting that was a reg. Lancer windshield.
New guy: sounds like you better have gotten a great deal, and sounds like you probably shouldn't be doing any letting out of the clutch at 5000 rpm in first gear until the rest of the car is working... Don't want a blown clutch before everything else is fixed too! Edit (you just posted): Probably the knob, it's a known issue, search the forums I'm pretty sure there's stuff out there on the broken knobs. And there are plenty of good Evo shops in the valley. Solid Autoworks comes to mind as a main one, there are a few others too, but they're who I'd recommend if you're in the Salt Lake valley.
mrcoolhandsome: Long time no talk. I don't think it was anyone who posts regularly on here, I don't think anyone has a silver one. I think it is mostly black and white with a red and a blue or two, and maybe a few GGs.
Josh: that reminds me that I need to take back Dead Space and Force Unleashed... Since I'm just playing Fallout 3 all the time anyway. I haven't even looked at stuff on COD5, it's my way of preventing myself from wanting games. Haha.

Guys, now that ficker is gone who can tune the stock evo IX ecu locally? I'm starting to save up money and will be doing the exhaust/mbc/retune hopefully kind of soon, just not confident in my own ability and lazy to boot.
