They are heavier by maybe like a pound or two, didn't feel too different holding the two when I got mine replaced. Back then the Evo windshield was backordered for 6 months too. For how much more durable the Lancer one is, it isn't worth saving the weight, especially if you're paying for the new windshield and not your insurance.

And I don't win. Haven't gone to sleep yet...

Thats good to know, I need to replace mine too but since the car is pretty much down for the winter, it'll be a spring time expense. Where did you get the quote?

Howdy gents! I win, almost. Hey Jakey, I heard from a little birdy that you had a little boo-boo with the poor-sha? Are you okay?

184 after insurance or without it? If it is without it then it is definitely an aftermarket one for sure, and probably one for the Lancer. The Evo one is upwards of $500, I think it was 750 when I needed one.

And yeah Evan, that was a long time ago. I'm getting it back tomorrow. Idiot in a truck backed out of his driveway into me while I was stopped at a light.

Allstate sent a check for 7,662ish. Haha, there is a picture some pages back. Basically battering-rammed my passenger door and bent it in so bad it pulled on the front passenger quarter panel too. So new door and window and whatever they needed to do for the quarter panel.

Hey guys. I just bought an 2003 evo 8 from the auto auction here in town. Long story short that car has lots of problems.
Heater not working
Single knock noise after i let go the clutch on first gear at about 5000 rpms.
Brand new battery keeps dying on me overnight.
When i first got it the spark plug on cylinder #2 was wet and the engine kept stalling.
Any ways, i need someone who knows about evo's here in Salt Lake to help me with this problems.
Please pm me with any info you got on this and someone affordable to work on it. Thanks guys!!!
