oh yah and i was at miller go-karting today and i met vesko and his whole evo crew and all i can say is wow they build some amazing cars. the all black race car and the white ix rs with cf hood and trunk and huge wing and stuff are probably the two most awsome evos that i have ever seen. plus everyone was really chill there especially the guy who drove the gutted white rs that is almost stock other than suspension

I would think it would have a lot of trouble going over 550 WHP (corrected) and still keeps tabs on the airflow.
But just because you are out of MAF does not mean that it can't make more power. I over ran my stock 2G MAF at 13 PSI and 7500 RPM. That was 45 pounds/min. At 20 PSI, it still made a hell of a lot more power then 13 PSI, but the MAF signal had flat lined at 45 pounds/min by 6000 RPM. Anything above this RPM point and the ECU had no idea the additional air was there. To get it to hold a decent A/F ratio, you would just fatten up the top end and other then the "map" looking funny, the car ran fine. Provided the airflow remains constant, you can easily tune to WELL past the point of the MAF over running. Only problem is, what happens when temp or air pressure changes???

Got a log from the car so we can see MAF frequency? I wouldn't be surprised if the MAF is overrunning (I'm actually betting it is).
The E85 is well worth the inconvenience of limited places to fill it up. I don't think they have added any E85 stations in Utah in about 2 years... I know a guy that sells E98 for $3.00 a gallon though. From there, mix it 85/15 with C16 and it is supposed to make one HELL of a race gas mixture. A local 700 WHP 2.0L powered 1G DSM was asking me if I would tune his car on it but I've been pretty busy with my own stuff and haven't had the chance to help him out.
If that 570 HP EVO has the injector and pump for E85, it would be a no-brainier to setup a map for it. Same power (likely more power really) and only $3.00 a gallon...
