The drive was good until I hit Vegas. I think I fouled a plug it would misfire around 85 mph but At 90 she was fine and I took my spare plugs out of the glove box . I'm in Sun valley witch is the mountains ( big hills ) over looking Burbank. I have been seeing a lot of Evos too. When I wave they wave back . Went to Santa Monica and chilled on the pier and now I'm working on my 3rd gin and tonic

Working on Thanksgiving FTL!

Anyone doing any Black Friday shopping tomorrow?! I'll be one of the crazy people up at 4am to go lol

 

I did Black Friday one year to get my TV. I don't have anything I want badly enough, nor do I have the desire to spend money enough, to go get anything. Though Best Buy has a few tempting offers on laptops, I'm definitely not spending 500+ Nothing else is worth it IMO.

And I work as late as until they tell me I can go. Been here since 6 am, doing nothing and getting paid ~30/hr to do it isn't bad... But I still get paid 15/hr if I go home and go to sleep, and I need more sleep before the craziness later today. At any rate, it isn't that bad.

 

Where do you work? Are you getting paid double time right now?

 

If we come in on days that are considered holidays, we get paid our normal shift no matter how long we work (so, 6 hrs for me). And then we get paid the same normal rate for whatever time we put in.

I work at Unisys, it's a tech support company. Unfortunately the company my team supports also supports places outside the US, so they need a few of us here... I requested today and tomorrow off, but it was too late, so I only got tomorrow off.

 

Damn son that sucks for double pay ftw

that sucks Jake but hey now you have a little extra money and I will be out tomorrow helping Friends and Family buy things in the Crazyness and I'm not buying anything for my self for sure I have no money But I think its fun to charge after things and rush crazy people and all the pushing and shoving around and People getting in fights and yelling and ahh the holiday season is so my fun I'm camping out tonight with some friends at some stores but dont know yet what my mission is
