Utah Evos
Carl's the BA that worked on my car for me, heard he's a sales guy now. They actually called me about the MR earlier today because they heard I was looking around (there's a decent chance they'll be the one's buying my car from Mark Miller, unless they decide to keep it and sell it there, they aren't sure). So the owner remembered me and gave me a call and said they had a X MR. If anyone wants it, RC is great to deal with... It's a shame they didn't have an STi. My only complaint about them is that when they replaced my coolant tank they did it with a cheaper after market version so it broke again later... They did that for free though quite awhile after I bought the car, so can't really complain
But on that note:

But on that note:

I told them to call you, they remembered your Porsche.
From what I know and have seen myself is that the subys are 10x more prominent in Slc then evos...only place I know that seems to have more evos then subys in cali
Yeah, thanks Jason. I really did enjoy working with em, I checked their site a few times to see if they had an STi ever. I wouldn't buy an MR even for way less than an STi, I drove one and was impressed at what it was... But it's auto-manual system wasn't the best I've driven, and the whole over heating thing would scare me since I hit the track once in awhile. Carl is really cool too, it's great that he's a sales dude now.
I take delivery of it on Monday assuming everything else goes through, but it is essentially sold to me, not even on their site anymore. 7,300 miles. It was one of Mark Miller's factory demos so it has never left their hands, most of the miles were put on by the sales managers and a few other employees driving it so I'm the first real owner of it. It's in such great shape, there's hardly even any dings from rocks on the intercooler
And it already has clear bra on the rear quarter in front of the rear tires... the spot that likes to get worn real bad from chips from the front tires flinging rocks onto the wide body. It still has a bit of the sat radio trial left on it too
I drove one that LHM suby just took delivery of with 16k miles on it... It was beat to ****, I think the first owner was rallying the crap out of it. They couldn't even give me as good of a deal on that one as MM got me. Only thing it is missing is an ipod adapter, tint, and front clear bra.
Is Chaz still doing that stuff?

So I was doing some running around in SLC looking at Cars for a friend that just sold his Evo and When I was on 7500 south (I think) I saw a Silver Evo 8 Clean

Well I pretty much Got Everything I need to get my car back to stock except Front bumper, fenders and a few other little things.
Even so, we had 84 cars and I bet it was half Subaru which is a lot. Just figured more of the Evo guys would want to shake off winter and get some fun driving in .
Jake-
The clearbra on the rear door area is oem, and not adequate enough to really protect your paint. As you know the Subaru paint is very weak. I suggest getting the front of the car done, as well as a getting a larger area done on the rear door, and side skirts.
I don't know if I showed you what I have had done to my car or not, but here's a pic outlining the side protection I've got.

Oh, and congrats on the car... want to swap your bbs's for my 5 spokers

That is a nicely done outline Mike, thanks! I have to find out if Wes' (and my) buddy Chaz still does tint and clear bra stuff and find out how much he'll charge me for the whole she-bang.
And no
The 5 spokers look good on every other color but black IMO. Oh and it has that stupid under seat "subwoofer" that really does exactly what you said, vibrates my seat a little teenie bit.
You can have my sat radio kit for your ipod kit if you have one though!

Here are some pics I took yesterday on our little canyon run through Ogden canyon and back through Trappers Loop. Actually took some time to edit them a bit this time. Let me know what you guys think. Oh yea, I was able to get my gf to bring the RSX-S.
