I had the same with my truck and I kept getting the high pitch sound in my speakers so I added a 2nd ground to the amp and it took care of it. I am now going to always do a double ground on amps in my cars

haha sound like my friends 85 Toyota tercel there is about a 1" rust whole in the floor in the wheel well under the floor mate so on rainy days a little water coming in

Good catch man I had a shop that didn't tighten my drain bold on my BMW and it was leaking. I noticed it the next day in my Driveway and went straight back to them and they gave me another free oil change I never used it

yea ecu controlled boost is good stuff though quick spool, more boost up top and a better failsafe with tephra patch nice to switch maps/change boost levels

Don't know exactly what is wrong with it it the problem I just put the Car back to Stock and when I pulled my AEM out to put Stock ECU in it the Car wont start It turns over and everything, spark, and fuel but it wont get going and stay running I would be down for help But I am just having my Dad look at is now at his shop today in Provo which is about 2 hours south of where you are Thanks tho man I appreciate the want to help Hopefully we get this thing going soon tho I haven't had it running in over a month now

Ya Check your ground and if its lose fix it if its tight and still making that sound move it to a different spot, or add a 2nd ground

Yep there was a green plug in my trunk you could see the end cap thing sticking out under the car..you prob have that too? just pop the plug dilly out..I'll send ya a picture if ya want

that sound ur getting from ur speakers...u wouldnt happen to have a pioneer head unit right? those are notorious for that high pitch sound...even if u run the ground one side of the car and the power on the other side

That sucks, I hope it didn't get into his wiring harness. There is a gromet under the cowl in front of the windshield that is known to leak & cause electrical problems.

 

Ya I hope its just something dumb like that. I thought I did check all my sensors and wiring before but I may have missed something. Will see tho. It helps that My Dad is a Japanese Auto Motive Tech and He certified in KIA, Subaru, Suzuki and Mitsubishi So he should get it figured out

There are lots of cars around here just that they never seam to all come out at the same time and only on Nice nights Come summer time State Street Down here is crawling with tons of Sports, Import and Exotic cars cruising up and down. We all usually meet at the Mall down here then all Cruise together hopping around from place to place and Once in a while get a few good races in for fun

 

Hello all. I just met RockyU, a member of this forum, after getting my evo detailed, since the car wash filled the interior full of water, wax, and soap. You think they wouls look when you hand them the keys and check the windows.... nope, sent it through with the rear right full open and down. Any way, just curious where to meet some other evo enthusiasts at.

I am new to the SLC area, only lived here for about 2 months, and we all know how our weather has been, so havent been out to much. Would be cool to meet up with some of you guys and hang.
