It's a different kit! looks good though. I'll be at the shop all day today, stop by if you get a chance.
i grounded my amp to the the floor of my trunk. i am using a 4 gauge wiring kit. i ran the power wire through the firewall on the passenger side if you take out your gllove box there is a rubber gromet you can either make a hole through it or take it out, but its way back there kinda hard to get to so someone with lil hands comes in handy. if you are looking at your firewall from under the hood the whole is behind the strut tower but kinda a tight squeeze. and you head unit you can ground straight to the screws that hold the unit in or one of the screws that are already there just hook it up to one of those all it needs is metal to metal contact. if you need more help let me know.....
what it cost new??
Hey now, I take offense to that Jake! Trying to make me feel bad cuz I dont have a car anymore?
JK!
Sounds to me like he is talking about the thin piece of metal that bolts onto the bottom portion of the bell-housing right below the block. The one that has like two lil 8mm bolts you take off and can see the flywheel. Does that make sense, or am a talking about a different tranny? If that is the case, it shouldnt take days to put a new one back on. If I remember right, there is nothung to remove to access that other than the under tray.

But you gotta unbolt and pull the tranny away from the block so you can get the plate on I think if I remember right? A lot of dust and **** is probably gotten or getting inside and at that point it's probably best to have everything taken a look at and cleaned clutch side and inside trannyit's been awhile since I did a tranny/clutch...last october, you might be able to put the dust shield on by just getting under car but I think it's bolts going in on the flywheel side to the block
