I dont know if it really sucks (well) but more like sometimes its hard to find what you are really looking for. I find you have to really dig through allot to find the goods. I think if I had AEM I would just stick with it, why is everyone starting to want to get rid of it. maybe I will be able to find a really cheap one soon at this rate. I HOPE I HOPE.
you cannot argue the fact that the drivablity of the stock ecu is far greater than anything out there

Thanks for the info. I've got alot of reading to do. That's how I learned the AEM so well so now it's time to learn ECUFlash. And I'm not getting rid of my AEM. I got it so cheap that there is no reason to sell it. You can't beat the drivability of a properly tuned stock ecu on the smaller turbos. Big turbos running E-85 are still going to need the AEM I think. You prob can do it with the stock ECU but at that point you are changing so much that the AEM flexability really shines. I may not like the stock ECU and go back to AEM on the small turbo. i won't know till I mess with it.
I'm gonna try to jump it when it's hooked up today it was getting dark outside last night
this is the valve...I guess I could jump a wire from pos & neg from battery straight to the solenoid by taking off the plug(black part)

this is what the email said back "There is something basically wrong, the failsafe has to trigger if the water flow is outside the window area. Please ground the pump.relay- terminal to manually turn on the pump and open up the valve."

do not tune the car for 36psi with a 3bar!! You will blow the ****er up
